Judi Ely writes: I worked very hard on this 31″x22″ painting and an essay, both titled “A City of Many Colors” for the Bushman-Dreyfus Architect firm’s INVISIBLE C’VILLE competition. If you have time to come to the reception for the competition, (Friday, March 1, at Charlottesville’s Jefferson School City Center, 233 4th St NW, Charlottesville), I’d be very appreciative. All competition entries will be exhibited there from February 26 through May 4, 2019.
Jeff Bushman, a partner at BDA, says, “We were looking for imaginative, beautiful, and provocative entries expressing individual truths about Charlottesville. The exhibit as a whole will create a kaleidoscopic view of our community and contribute to dialogue about its present and possible futures.”
