Member Meetings, Programs, & Challenge!

Meeting Dates and Times

CVWG member meetings are held January-November on the 4th Monday of the month except when these fall on holidays. Unless otherwise noted, we meet at 12:30 PM for social time and to post any new art we want to share. The meeting starts at 1:00 PM and usually ends by 3:00 PM.

Monthly Programs & Challenge! Topics

At each of our meetings, CVWG provides our members and guests a program related to water-media as well as give a Challenge! topic to inspire you to paint.

Programs: For 2023, our Director of Programs, Linda Abbey, has architected an impressive set of programs for your enjoyment. Many of our programs in 2023 will actively engage and immerse our attendees so please come prepared to engage.

Says Linda:

Combining Camaraderie with Creativity. That is CVWG’s motto. We hope you enjoy this year’s program as we get together (respecting CDC guidelines). Wear a mask indoors except when eating and drinking. Wash your hands. And don’t come if you are sick!

2023 CVWG Programs will be exciting, interactive, and a little bit different. Details, including recommended materials, will be on the website and reminders and changes will be sent as blog posts as needed.

Challenge!: Our Director of our monthly Challenge!, Phyllis Koch Sheras, has lined up an interesting set of to get you painting every month. If you need more guidance on how the Challenge! works and fits into our monthly meetings, please refer to our Challenge! topics page.
