The University of Virginia’s Medical Center is hosting a solo exhibition of member Diana Scott-Auger’s acrylic paintings in the hospital gallery. The show runs from October 31 to January 9. Diana’s painting, “Going With the Flow”, is shown above.

Our friends at the Arts Center in Orange, Va are having a showing entitled EQUUS V: Horses in the Virginia Landscape. The exhibit runs through November 30, 2019 in the Morin Gallery. More details can be found on their website.

Jane Matthews is being honored with a showing of some of her landscape paintings at the Arden Place Apartments Clubhouse. A reception is being held this Friday, October 4, 2019 from 5:30 – 7:30 PM. Light refreshments will be served.

Fellini’s Restaurant is hosting a showing of member Linda Abbey’s landscape paintings, including the Painting Yellow Trees, above. The show opens on Friday, October 4, and runs through the end of November. Make a reservation for dinner and enjoy Linda’s fantastic art!
Member Judi Ely is being honored by her alma mater, Bridgewater College, with a showing of about 20 of her paintings in the Kline Campus Center throughout the month of October. One of her paintings in the show, above, is entitled, “Magnifying Life”.
As Judi notes,
“In October, I have a show of my work at Bridgewater College in Bridgewater, Va coinciding with my alumni class reunion on October 19. There is a reception on Monday, Sept 30, 5:00-7:00PM which includes an artist talk and another reception on October 19, 10-11:00AM.
It would be great if you are able to come by the show.”
Judi is donating her painting, below, to the school for the October 19 class dinner and silent auction.
