Activities

We continue to monitor the COVID-19 virus, its mutations and strains, the responses and recommendations from our health officials, etc. , we will see how this pandemic will evolve and how best the Guild can adapt. We continue to plan to continue to hold our monthly meetings with programs. Keep an eye on our blog posts and this page for updates on our activities.

Monthly Meetings

We have resumed our in-person member meetings on 4th Monday of the month from January through October. See our dedicated Member Meetings & Programs page for specifics.


Exhibits

During the year, CVWG members usually have 1-2 opportunities to exhibit paintings at various venues in the area. As of this update, our exhibitions are in early stages of being planned. Keep an eye on this page and our blog posts for evolving opportunities.


Workshops

CVWG has a single half-day workshop being planned. Read about it on our Guild Workshops page.

There are literally dozens, if not hundreds, of sites offering free or low-cost workshops where you can further develop your skills. Some of those already featured in our posts or offered by our members include:

Opportunities to Show Your Art

At this time, there are few venues open to Guild members to show your art in the various communities we live. Click on this link to to see the venues that used to regularly accept our creations and contact them to see if they are accepting works.
