Your Central Virginia Watercolor Guild Board of Directors have decided to resume our monthly in-person meetings starting on September 27 at 1:00 PM. Set the date on your calendars and plan to join your fellow member-artists then. As a reminder, we meet in the Fellowship Hall toward the rear of the Church of Our Savior at 1165 Rio Rd E, Charlottesville, VA 22901. Here’s a map to help guide and remind you.
CVWG’s Final Challenge! Show by Zoom
CVWG concluded our art shows by Zoom with our July Challenge! Despite all the conflicting activities, members resuming travels, and other conflicts, CGWG received 6 paintings from 5 member-artists. The theme for July was “Sun Shine“. The painting at the top of this post, “Sunlight Reflections on My Piano” by Paula Eliasek, and the following paintings were shown.
Challenge! Paintings Will Resume at Monthly Meeting
A reminder that we will not hold a Challenge! in August and will feature our Challenge! paintings at our in-person meetings in September. The September Challenge! is:
- The theme is “Quiet Valley…Real or Imaginary“;
- Bring your creation to the meeting at 1:00 PM on Monday, September 27;
- Your CVWG Directors for the Challenge! program, Janice Creasy and Carolyn Belt, will be your hosts;
- Guild members, friends, followers, and guests are welcome to attend and show your painting(s).
